The Nyletherm 1 Heat Pump Hot Water heater has already been proven in thousands of installations. Independent tests have shown that electric hot water heating bills are reduced by an average of 50%. Savings are much greater than with instantaneous or tankless hot water heaters. The Nyletherm 1 is used with any standard electric hot water heater holding over 30 gallons. It can be used with gas hot water heaters or plain tanks but the ETL label applies only to installations using electric hot water heaters. Contact Nyle if you wish to adapt the Nyletherm 1 to another type of tank other than an electric hot water heater. There is no separate power supply required for the Nyletherm 1. It is attached to the tank using a wiring kit supplied with the system. The Nyletherm 1 features an oversized cooling coil and variable speed fan to improve efficiency and prevent coil freeze-up. The speed control minimizes the already quiet sound level. The Nyletherm 1 is a great dehumidifier. It cools and dehumidifies the air in the space where it is located. Many find they can stop using a separate dehumidifier and still keep the basement dry. Some people install their Nyletherm 1 in the occupied space to take advantage of a wood stove and use the cooling in the summer. When cooling is not needed, the air can be directed outside. Nyle offers a duct adapter option In the South, many place a Nyletherm 1 in a garage or other area that can make use of the cooling and dehumidification while heating water. There is normally no special piping required. The Nyletherm 1 comes with a complete tubing and valve kit. The drain valve is removed from the tank and a special arrangement with a tube-in-tube is supplied that allows circulation through the single drain opening is supplied for quick and easy installation. Some tanks with a plastic liner will require some minor plumbing. A wall hanger kit is provided at no additional charge. The Nyletherm 1 can be hung on the wall or placed on the floor next to the hot water heater. A condensate pump is available for locations where gravity drains cannot be used.

am writing to express my utmost satisfaction with your Nyletherm-1 Heat Pump Water
Heater. I had it installed through an incentive program with my local utility
company.
I live with my wife and three small children and needless to
say between laundry, dishes and bathes, we use a large amount of hot water. At
first, I was skeptical about the money saving potential of the Nyletherm-1 Heat
Pump Water Heater, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I am saving on average
$50 per month on my energy bills since its installation! The product quickly pays
for itself.
The unit was installed quickly by a knowledgeable plumber.
It runs quieter than my existing dehumidifier and does a better job at keeping
my basement dry than does my dehumidifier. I feel good that we are using a more
energy efficient product that is made in the United States. My only regret is
that I did not find out about your product sooner.
